Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This image appeared in the 53rd edition (No. 1, Vol. II, January 1, 1910) of Flight, the 'First Aero Weekly in the World', and shows aviation pioneer Alliott Verdon-Roe posing beside his Triplane powered by a 24 hp Antoinette engine. Pictured is the second of two built. It was damaged December 24, 1909. The first one was stored in October 1909, and later its tail wheel was replaced with a tailskid in order to supply a tail wheel for the damaged one."
