Gippsland GA200C Fatman

10/31/2009. Gippsland Aeronautics was formed by Morgan and Peter Furlong at the Latrobe regional airport in Victoria, Australia in the 1970s as an aircraft maintenance and modification business. Although resembling the Piper PA-25 Pawnee, the GA200 agriculture aircraft was an indigenous design, which received Australian certification in 1991.

The pictured aircraft was produced in 1999 and registered VH-EQE on December 14 of that year. Presently it is owned by Aerial Agricultural Plant Hire, Leongatha, Victoria.
