Fairey Swordfish Mk.II

12/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built by Blackburn at Sherburn-in-Elmet, North Yorkshire, UK, it was delivered to the RN on August 17, 1943, and flew anti-submarine sorties from Northern Ireland and from ships at sea for the protecting of trans-Atlantic convoys; after the war it was used for training and liaison duties. On May 28, 1947, it was sold to Fairey and registered as G-AJVH.

The registration was cancelled on April 30, 1959, when the aircraft was presented to the RN and was flown by the RN Historical Flight.
