Fleet 80 Canuck

12/31/2023. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The early history of this aircraft is unknown, apart from that it was built in 1946, that it came on the civil register as CF-DPV, and that it later was reregistered as C-FDPV.

By 1982 the aircraft was owned by Andre Fiset of Duberge, Quebec, as the C-FDPV was reregistered on December 17, 1982, to Peter Palmer of Ancienne Lorette. It was deregistered on May 17, 1985.

One and a halve year later, October 9, 1986, it was registered to Keith Rich of Collingwood, Ontario. On July 9, 1991, ownership was transferred to the Collingwood Classic Aircraft Foundation at Stayner, which moved to Collingwood on July 10, 1997, and back to Stayner on July 13, 2007. The registration was cancelled on March 22, 2017, eight days later it was registered to Robin Hadfield of Utopia. Only four months later, July 22, 2017, the registration was cancelled again.

In 2018, the aircraft was donated to Vintage Wings of Canada, at Gatineau, after a complete restoration at Arnprior's Russ Bannock Airport in Ontario, it was registered to Vintage Wings of Canada on May 1, 2020.
