10/31/2007. The Hurricane was delivered to the RAF as Mk.I Z7015 by Canadian Car & Foundry, in 1940, converted to Sea Hurricane in June 1941. From November 1943 till 1961 this aircraft was used as an instructional airframe at Loughborough Training College. On February 21, 1961 it was obtained by the Shuttleworth Trust. In a long-term restoration the aircraft was brought back to airworthy status, resulting in a second maiden flight from Duxford on September 16, 1995. View also photo 5064 and 10657
