Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Manufactured in 1941 for the USAAC as a 414-08-10 A-28-LO, s/n 41-23175, subsequently transferred to the RAAF as a Hudson Mk.IVA, s/n A16-105, arriving in Australia on December 5, 1941. Struck off charge it came on the civil market and it had the following history:

October 4, 1962, leased to Adastra Aerial Surveys
June 2, 1965, damaged by fire in starboard engine
June 24, 1966, sold to Sepal, VH-AGP
November 1976, sold to Malcolm Long and restored to military configuration
November 1977 displayed at airs how at Point Cook, Melbourne, Victoria, marked incorrectly as A16-123
November 22, 1981, displayed at Chewing Gum Field Museum, Tallebudgera, Queensland, marked with s/n A16-105
and 6 Squadron code FX-F, reserved registration VH-FXF was not taken up
1985, displayed at Airworld, Wangaratta, Victoria
January 15, 2001, sold to the Australian War Memorial, Canberra."
