Remarks by Ed Coates: "This ancient machine was imported in 1921 for the Shaw-Ross Engineering and Aviation Co. Ltd. of Port Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Its Certificate of Registration was allowed to lapse ten years later and it was destroyed in a disastrous hangar fire at Port Melbourne on August 7, 1931." |
