Waco CRG

Remarks by Andy Heins: "This is my brother's Waco CRG...only surviving example. Built especially for the 1930 Ford Air Tour, a 4,800 mls (7,725 km) transcontinental race. Waco won in 1928 and 1929 and built two CRGs to win in 1930 and gain permanent possession of the Edsel B. Ford Trophy. Ford changed the rules in 1930 so that only a Ford Tri-Motor could win. It did.

Waco CRG

The two CRGs placed second and third respectively, ours (NC600Y) being flown by Johnny Livingston and the other (NC660Y) being flown by Art Davis."
