Consolidated 32 LB-30 Liberator Mk.III

03/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The characters 'GF' visible on the fuselage implicate this is one of five RAF Liberator Mk.IIIs (s/n FL909, FL915, FL917, FL918, FL920) that were diverted to BOAC and registered G-AGFN, G-AGFO, G-AGFP, G-AGFR, and G-AGFS. These Liberators were used as unarmed long-range transports, and flew between Britain and Egypt, with an extensive detour around Spain over the Atlantic."
