07/31/2009. The pictured aircraft was registered on August 19, 1937 and named "Guyenne" it served with Air France until it was pressed into military service during WW II. After the war the aircraft was returned to Air France and subsequently re-engined with two 1,200 hp Pratt & Whitney R-1820-97 Cyclone radials and re-designated Bloch 221. In 1949 it was transferred to the SANA (Société Auxiliaire de Navigation Aérienne), the French air navigation authority. View also photo 9510.
