Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This former USAAF B-17F-75-DL is seen carrying a heavily weighted scale model of the Grumman F8F Bearcat that was used for drop tests in "bring-along" fighter experiments. These test were conducted by the Naval Air Material Center (NAMC) Philadelphia, at Mustin Field, Pennsylvania, USA."
