07/31/2009. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced as a C-46A-35-CU the aircraft was delivered with s/n 42-3659 to the USAAF on February 2, 1944. On March 5, 1946 the aircraft was sent to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation and Ontario, California.

In 1948 it was sold to A.W. Schwimmer who registered it as NC67925, subsequently it was transferred to the Panama Registry as RX-127 and registered to LAPSA (Lineas Aéreas de Panama S.A.), a "paper" Panamanian company that served as a clandestine conduit of aircraft to Israel, and it was used by the Israel Defense Force.

On January 7, 1957 the aircraft was registered to A.W. Schwimmer again, this time as N9852F, a few months later, March 28, it was sold to the Boreas Corporation. Reeve Aleutian Airways acquired the aircraft on July 3, 1958, and flew it for over 20 years. It was registered to Foss Air Alaska on February 21, 1980, being damaged twice in 1982 in landing mishaps.

Finally, on September 3, 1983 it was sold to Warren C. Woods, the registration was cancelled on August 23, 1993, as the aircraft was destroyed."
