04/30/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was built at Chester as a DH-104 Mk.4 Devon C.Mk.1 in 1948, delivered to 207 Squadron of the RAF as VP955. In the mid-1960s it was converted to a DH-104 Mark 8 Devon C.Mk.2. In 1984 it was sold to the 955 Preservation Group and registered as G-DVON on October 26, 1984. Although still at the register the CofA expired May 29, 1996, while the aircraft is presently stored dismantled at Kemble."
