08/31/2007. Remarks by Alfred Damen: "The aircraft, owned and operated by Atlas Air, touches down a bit hard on runway 09-27L. This aircraft was built in 1985 as a 747-243B, and registered as N6009F. It was delivered to Alitalia on May 29, 1985, as I-DEMT and operated till March 29, 1996.

It was sold to the USA, registered as N517MC, and subsequently leased to SAS. Thereafter it was converted to a 747-243B(SF) freighter."
