Remarks by Bob Cieslak: "My father, Zane Cieslak, was working as a mechanic at Robertson Aircraft Corporation at Lambert Field at the time and always had his box camera on hand to take pictures. I remember the stories he told about when the "Spirit of St. Louis" flew into Lambert Field for an overnight stop on its trip from California to New York prior to Lindbergh's Paris flight. "Slim", as Dad knew him, gave him a walk-around tour of the airplane on the morning he arrived at Lambert Field."
