03/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was built by Douglas at Long Beach, California, USA, as a B-17G-70-DL. Based at Grafton Underwood Airfield, USAAF 8th Air Force, designated Station 106, near Kettering, Northamptonshire, UK, this aircraft (fuselage code "J") was assigned to the 546th Bombardment Squadron (fuselage code "BK"), 384th Bombardment Group (Heavy) (tail code Triangle-P), 41st Combat Bombardment Wing, 1st Bombardment Division. It survived WW II, but was subsequently scrapped."
