02/28/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The Gerfaut (Gyrfalcon) was derived from the SFECMAS 1402, but had only 20% in commonality. It was first flown by André Turcat on January 15, 1954, who also established several time to height records from a standing start on February 16 and 28, 1957:
