02/28/2009. Construction of this aircraft started in 1986 as the prototype
AS 332 Mk.II Super Puma and was first flown as F-WQDA on February 6, 1987. After the extensive trials and demonstration period was ended the aircraft was converted to an AS 332L1 Super Puma. It was delivered to the Landhelgisgæsla Íslands (or Landhelgisgæslan, Iceland) CG on June 23, 1995.
