Shorts 360-100

01/31/2012. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built in 1987, this aircraft was registered as G-BNDK to Short Brothers of Belfast, Northern Ireland, on January 8, 1987. Twelve days later it was chartered by Jersey European Airways of Jersey, Channel Islands and reregistered G-OBHD. After three years, February 19, 1990, it was returned to Short Brothers and immediately chartered by Connectair of Crawley (operating as Air Europe Express) and the registration was reverted to G-BNDK.

On May 15, 1991 the aircraft was sold to Jersey European Airways (by then moved to Exeter), the aircraft was again registered as G-OBHD, and served with the airline till it was sold to Emerald Airways of Leeds on November 9, 2001. Emerald Airways air operators certificate was revoked on May 4, 2006 and the company went in to liquidation. The aircraft was acquired by ACL Aviation Support of Southend-on-Sea on November 28, 2006. Eventually it was scrapped at Blackpool, the registration being cancelled on January 27, 2011, as "permanently withdrawn from use"."
