05/01/2005. Remarks by Curtiss Aldrich: "This aircraft was the last of only nine C-1s built beginning in 1925. It was powered by a Liberty V-12. Also 1 C-1A (25-426) and 17 C-1C were built. A projected C-1B was not built. The design was based on the Douglas DWC World Cruiser." |
