04/30/2010. Remarks by Graeme Mills:
"I used to load fertiliser into this Cresco about 3 years prior to this
photo. This Cresco was the first to Andy Stevenson's Farmers Air
and it really put the Cresco on the map as far as a new era in
topdressing aircraft is concerned. It was powered by a 600 shp Lycoming
LTP-101 turbine.
After retirement from topdressing it was used for
skydiving at Taupo and during this time was upgraded to a Pratt & Whitney PT6 turbine engine.
It is now used for Aerial Survey work by Kiwi Air which is managed by
Andy's son, Guy Stevenson, out of Taupo and has returned to New Zealand after
an extensive patrol of Australia, from July 2008 till July 2009."
