Britten-Norman BN-2A Mk.III-2 Trislander

08/12/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This aircraft was registered G-BCXX by Britten-Norman on February 28, 1975 and delivered to Jonas Aircraft and Arms Company, Inc., on July 7, 1975; it was immediately sold to the Jamaican airline Trans-Jamaican Airlines and registered 6Y-JJH. The last owner was the Turks and Caicos National Airlines who bought it in 1983. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair in September 1986. The Trislander had departed Norman Manley Airport, Kingston, Jamaica, for Grand Turk Island Airport, Turks and Caicos Islands, and had to ditch off Port-de-Paix, Haiti. There were no fatalities."
