03/05/2005. Remarks by Alan Sweetman: "Between 100 and 200 Soviet Tu-4s transferred to Chinese by Russia in late 1950s/early 1960s after the Tu-16 came into service in large numbers. I believe there are at least two examples still surviving in the People's Republic of China - now both grounded. But at least one was flying in an AWACs role until early 1990s apparently."
