08/12/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This C-133A-30-DL was accepted by the USAF at Long Beach, California, USA, on May 7, 1959 and issued to the 1501st Air Transport Wing, Western Transport Air Force (WESTAF), Military Air Transport Service (MATS) and based at Travis AFB, Fairfield, California.

The aircraft was reissued to the 1607th ATW, Eastern Transport Air Force (EASTAF), MATS, at Dover AFB, Delaware, USA, in May 1960. It crashed and was destroyed on November 7, 1964 after take off from Goose Bay AB, Labrador, Canada, killing all seven crewmen."
