401 Squadron somewhere in Europe. Those words handwritten on
the back of a photograph is all that identifies the source of the
photos in this section. These photos were given to me by an uncle in
about 1954, who was in the Canadian armed forces during WW II.
I don't know if he took the photos or obtained them from someone
else; I suspect a combination of the two. The flight photos were
obviously not taken by him. Some of photos may have been taken in Canada.
